100 Best Survivor Vote-Offs

There have been many changes to the game over the years, but there have been a few elements that have stuck with it as well. There are three guarantees in life: death, taxes, and tribal councils on Survivor.

For this list, I’m only including eliminations decided by tribal council voting results. No medevacs, quits, or sudden death eliminations like the Final 4 tribal councils in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. I will include tie-breaking outcomes that take place after a vote. So if a sudden death elimination came after a vote in order to resolve a tie, then it can go on the list. Also, the criteria is for a vote-off to be not only satisfying, but also wonderfully edited and told. So even when it’s not the person we wanted to see get voted off, it’ll still make the list if the outcome was well-presented. Finally, we’ll also include vote-offs that had an equally-entertaining timeline of events that led up to that tribal council.

Big Brother 20 – Episode 36 Recap

Previously on Big Brother, a double eviction finally arrived on day 85. In the first eviction of the night, Haleigh gets the boot, putting her Hive alliance out of its misery once and for all. Then Tyler cemented himself for a no better finish than 2nd place (unless he and Angela are the final 2) after he backdoored Brett before he can take the first shot at him.

LOSER’S CIRCLE – Foutte/The Hive: Big Brother 20’s Bad News Bears

Dmq2MLJUUAAfgLq

This is the best week that the Foutte/Hive alliance has ever had on this season of Big Brother. Why? They’re all going to be in the Jury House.

Big Brother 20 featured an alliance of houseguests that gained the most popularity of any alliance in recent memory. Interestingly enough, they had two names for the alliance throughout the season: Foutte (during the first 4 weeks) and The Hive (which such since week 5). Whichever name you want to use, both of them are attached to an alliance that could not do anything right, even when they had the opportunity to get it right. Normally, an alliance that fails repeatedly becomes nothing more than a punchline on future discussions. But this alliance’s failures were so outstandingly bad that they are getting inducted into the LOSER’S CIRCLE.

I Love Money 4 – Season Recap

So yeah. We’re talking about this again.

In the case of I Love Money 4, this can be explained.

Either way, it became another season of I Love Money, so I might as well talk about it now before it pulls a Hills and springs a revival on us.

Let’s literally see how much more money VH1 can waste on a franchise before it loses all marketability. This is I Love Money 4!

Big Brother 20 – Episode 34 Recap

Believe it or not, I’m actually torn between two different opinions. Yeah, JC has done some terrible things on the live feeds, which are so disturbing that producers won’t even bother to put it on TV. It’s important to remind you guys that the host of this show is currently having to watch her husband resign from his CEO position at CBS over the same situation that the network only gave a warning to this guy about.

So that’s it for this episode recap. Joe Average will be taking on the double eviction episode recap (and thank God, because after this week, I’d rather not deal with that).

LOSER’S CIRCLE – Kyle Jason’s Tasteless, Misogynistic Gameplay on Survivor: Kaoh Rong

Misogyny is nothing new on reality TV. But on Survivor: Kaoh Rong, Kyle Jason repeatedly showed disrespect towards women on more than one occasion. Most notably, he wrestled a female competitor, who he had zero sympathy for, out of the way to get to a hidden immunity idol, which she was already at before he got there. Using his brute strength to overpower his least favorite tribemate is disturbing enough on its own. But as you read in his induction to the LOSER’S CIRCLE, there’s more ugliness that his game had to offer.

A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila – Season 1 Recap

MTV is just too easy to make fun of at this point.

However, I’ve already talked about The Hills and Jersey Shore, I cover The Challenge on almost a weekly basis, I bailed on the TRL revival after one week, and you couldn’t pay me to watch Floribama Shore. So, once again, I have to dive through the channel’s archives, or whatever’s available from their archives, to find my target for today. I could try to go for something positive that really contributed a lot of good to the audience. Unfortunately, classic seasons of The Real World are extremely hard to find, so I’m stuck recapping A Shot at Love.
