After NBC fired Donald Trump from his hosting gig on Celebrity Apprentice, everyone wondered whether or not it means the show go off the air. But yesterday, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt confirmed that there will be another season of Celebrity Apprentice. Just not for this upcoming TV season. During the Television Critics Association Press Tour, Robert Greenblatt revealed that it will take the 2016/2017 season off so they can find a replacement for its former host and current Presidential candidate Donald Trump, who he says will “absolutely not” return. Probably not what Apprentice haters don’t want to hear, but it’s actually good news. Over the show’s past 2 seasons, with its most recent one having aired earlier this year, Donald Trump has proven to be the its Achilles’ heel. So a hosting change is probably going to help improve things as long as they find the right successor.
