BACHELOR PAD SEASON 1 RECAP

When a reality show has been on the air forever, it needs to figure out the trick to staying relevant. One of the most used methods appears to be calling former contestants back to the game. Shows like Survivor, Big Brother, and The Amazing Race have had success in the past with All-Star seasons. Shows like Rock of Love and Flavor of Love have come up with spin-off shows for their most famous former contestants. And shows like The Real World and Road Rules made a hybrid show together and ended up forming its own league in reality TV. The reason why those shows succeeded in this art is because we want to see the best of the best come back, and these shows make sure that we get the best of the best. Nobody told that to the Bachelor franchise.

In 2010, the Bachelor franchise created a spin-off show for past contestants of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. These contestants are put in a house where instead of vying for romance, they’re trying to compete for cash. That’s all we’ve been told to believe that the prize is. You want to know what we have to say to that?
