The New Celebrity Apprentice – Season Recap (featuring Turk182 and Jack S.)

POPS ROSS E.: Today’s recap takes a look at The New Celebrity Apprentice, the fifteenth season of The Apprentice franchise, the eighth season to feature celebrity contestants, and the first season to not be hosted by current President of the United States, Donald Trump.

JACK S.: This season was a big deal for the show. Not only was it so far away from the ratings juggernaut it was at the beginning (as well as a good show), but it also took two years off. And on top of that, it has a new host that had the tall order of replacing a polarizing, but well-established emcee.

TURK182: With former California Governor and action film icon Arnold Schwarzenegger in the boss’s seat, only two possibilities would come out of this: either he would miraculously make this show great again, or this would end up being the final season for the Apprentice franchise, and we’d be fine with either one.

Turk182: Why do I have to do The Amazing Race 26? I mean, it’s not a bad show, but for pete’s sake, I haven’t watched this show in 7 fucking years! Why? I just haven’t had time to sit down and watch it! Fine, you people! I’m going to recap this premiere. I’m going to do everything I can to keep up with…

(a knock on the door)

Turk182: (yells) Excuse me, but I’m doing a recap right now! I can’t answer that!

Pops Ross E.: What are you talking about?

Turk182: AHHHHHHH! Pops Ross E.? How did you get in?

Pops Ross E.: I knocked at the front, but then I remembered that the deadbolt’s broken in the back.

Turk182: Okay, but what gives you the right to barge into my place unannounced?

Pops Ross E.: Face it, Turk182. You need help with this one.

Christina Aguilera Returning for Season 8 of The Voice

Remember me?

Hey, everyone! My name’s “Pops” Ross E., and I’m the new news columnist for Reality TV Guide. This post marks my official debut on the Reality TV Guide team, and I’m very happy to be on board.

As you guys know, Gossip Woman is typing a recap for the Blind Audition episodes of NBC’s The Voice Season 7. While she’s hard at work, here’s some news that will get her excited: original coach Christina Aguilera will return to her position for Season 8 in the Spring. Christina helped launch The Voice back in 2011 and served as a coach for the first three seasons and Season 5. She took a hiatus in Season 6, as Shakira occupied her seat. Christina extended her hiatus to Season 7 when she got pregnant with her second child. She gave birth to Summer Rain Rutler back in August. This season, her seat’s being filled by Gwen Stefani.

The announcement was made this morning by host Carson Daly on the TODAY Show. She will be reunited with original coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Freshman coach Pharrell Williams will return for his second season as coach. They considered getting Cee-Lo Green back, but after his rape tweets, they told him, “Forget You“.
