No one ever thought this day would come. It’s the sweet relief of knowing a certain someone will not have control of a respected institution. No more will his corrupt, hollow hands get to touch all over something so sacred to our country. His twisted, heartless, conniving influence will no longer have any effect, and soon, us Americans will finally get to exhale out in the calm, chaos-free outdoors. Johnny Bananas will NOT be on the new season of The Challenge.
Sure, he’s not actually retired, as his schedule for 1st Look conflicted with the shooting timetable for this season, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he shows up on the next one. But let me have this moment of euphoria. It’s been a trying time for us all. So anyways, The Challenge: Double Agents is the upcoming 36th season of the formerly named Road Rules: All-Stars, and it premieres on MTV on December 9th. It’s one of the latest reality shows to find a way to resume production during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This cast has a whopping 66% BIPOC representation! CBS took a look at that percentage and said “I think 50% was too soft.”
