My name is Turk182, and this is Reality TV Guide, where we came to make everyone feel better about themselves.
Today’s recap is on a recent show that I have just discovered on Netflix and have instantly fell in love with. I’m of course talking about Bloodline.
This is a show about a group of siblings that come home for their parents’ 45th anniversary and are reunited with their estranged older brother. The encounter unleashes a series of conflicts and reopens a number of old wounds. It’s one of the most dramatic shows ever created and one of the best shows out right now. So gather around and take a look into how this one unfolds.
So this is not Bloodline, one of the most incredible shows you need to be watching right now. No, this is Battle of the Bloodlines, the latest season of The Challenge, where it’s clearly evident that this long-running reality show is beginning to run out of ideas. No, really. This is their 27th season, and they’ve exhausted their fanbase so much by sticking to a formula that they thought worked greatly in the past and continues to work greatly now. And they know that they’re not supposed to do the same theme every one or two seasons, so it’s now come to the point where they have little options left to take this formula. The only thing that they could do is steal ideas from other successful reality show themes. It’s like, “Hey, you know how Survivor did Blood vs Water two years ago? And they brought back previous players to compete with their loved ones? Well, we can do that too!”
Let me tell you. I’ve talked about the good seasons, I’ve talked about the bad seasons, but this is a season that I do not want to recap!
At least not alone.
